Everyone helps you prepare for the baby. We’ll help you prepare for motherhood.

Becoming Mama
is a course and community with me, Stephanie May Wilson, and my best friend Kelsey Bennett, a licensed professional counselor.

From figuring out whether you’re ready to the first year with your baby, we’ll help you prepare for what this means for
you: your relationship, your work, your body, and the kind of mother you want to be.

You’ll get video lessons, practical exercises and resources, and a community where you can ask us questions and meet women in the same stage of life.

Start today. Go at your own pace. You don’t have to figure this out alone.

As seen on...

This is for you if...

You want a baby, but you’re wondering how you’ll ever know you’re ready…

You’re pregnant, you’ve read the books and researched the strollers, and you’re still thinking, How do I actually prepare for a change this big?

You’re excited—and also wondering what happens to your marriage, your work, your body, and the parts of yourself you love…

Or the baby is already here, and some of those questions have become a lot less hypothetical.

You want help figuring out what’s right for your family. And you wish you had women you could ask, Is it normal that I’m THIS afraid? How did you handle this?

You don’t have to figure this out alone.

From “Are we ready?” to your baby’s first year

BEFORE YOU’RE PREGNANT

Figure out what “ready enough” means for you. Talk with your partner about timing, what you each want, and what you’d like to do, decide, or put in place before you start trying.

TRYING TO CONCEIVE

Understand the basics of trying, stay connected when sex starts to feel like a task, and handle the uncertainty without putting the rest of your life on hold.

PREGNANCY + PREPARING FOR BIRTH

Prepare for what’s happening to you, too. Work through fears, make plans for work and childcare, and have the conversations with your partner that are much easier before you’re both exhausted.

YOUR FIRST YEAR AS A MOTHER

Get help with sharing the work, staying close, handling everyone else’s opinions, and staying connected to yourself while caring for someone else. Start deciding what you want it to feel like to grow up in your home.

What comes with it...

Guidance you can watch, tools you can use, and people you can turn to as your life changes.

Conversations with Stephanie and Kelsey that feel like sitting on the couch together—from deciding whether you’re ready through trying, pregnancy, and your baby’s first year.

Tools from a licensed professional counselor to help you handle fear, expectations, emotions, and patterns you want to change as you become a parent.

A baby budget, guides for childcare and maternity leave, exercises to work through, and help starting the conversations you and your partner need to have.

Meet women who are planning, trying, pregnant, or in their first year postpartum. Share what’s happening, hear from women going through it too, and bring your questions to Stephanie and Kelsey.

Everything is available as soon as you join. Start with the stage you’re in, go at your own pace, and return when the next set of questions comes up. Your access won’t expire.

Get inside and try the lessons, guides, and community. If it doesn’t feel like the support you hoped it would be, email us within 14 days and we’ll refund your purchase.

Hi, we're Stephanie and Kelsey!

We’ve been best friends for 17 years. We made Becoming Mama together because we know how much this transition asks of a woman—and we wanted you to have the guidance, practical tools, and people we wish we’d had when we were becoming mothers.

Stephanie May Wilson is a bestselling author, TEDx speaker, and host of the Girls Night podcast. For more than a decade, she’s helped women navigate life’s biggest decisions and seasons of change.

Kelsey Bennett, M.S., LPC, is a licensed professional counselor who helps women and couples prepare for parenthood. Through her counseling practice and teaching, she helps them build secure attachment, communicate honestly, and create family rhythms that work for their actual lives.

Come sit with us. We’d love to walk through this with you.
